To my dearest:
I am an avid lover or solid colors, but I must admit prints are super fun and immediately changes up your outfit! Today, I want to share two very classic prints: stripes and gingham. I must say, they’ve been a hot trend and hit every single year, at every single season! And it’s no questioning why! But, I feel like they come around most often during Spring. In my spare time, I flip through multiple fashion magazines and lately, I’ve been eyeing these two prints a lot and I thought I might share!
These prints are easy to style and to dress up or down. I styled two similar styles, with the different prints to show the effect of these two prints!
I have a striped off the shoulder shirt paired with a pair of high waist denim shorts and a pair of sandals. This top boasts the stripes print, off the shoulder look, statement sleeves, and beautiful detailing of the front bow. All of which, are definitely current trending styles! I also used the clutch to add a pop of red to spice everything up! Cheers to the red, white, and blue color scheme!
With the gingham print, I picked something very similar to the striped outfit. I used the same pair of high waist denim shorts and for comparison purposes, both tops are blue in color, but just switched things up a tiny bit. The gingham top boasts the classic print, off the shoulder look, and statement sleeves. Sound familiar? Only difference — this is a short sleeve top! It’s essentially the same style as the other one! With this outfit, I wanted a slightly different feel to it, so I used a contrasting camel brown color for the shoes and bag.
Essentially, these two outfits are very similar, but the little details bring it a world’s difference! I love how you can play with styling with these two very classic and trendy prints! How about you? Do you love these prints? How would you style them? Write back and let me know!
