To my dearest:
How was everyone’s long weekend?! I spent my long weekend at a church retreat and it was most definitely refreshing. I was able to take a social media and blogging break, but no worries, now I’m back! I did get a little sick and I’m super tired because of it, but nothing gets in my way of bringing all of you lovelies, the latest trends!
Today, I’m going to keep it short and sweet. Your stylist, MOI, will be dressing up the basic white shirt and denim combo! Let’s take a look!
Finding the perfect white shirt to style is not an easy feat. I decided to change the styling of the simple white shirt, by picking up one with light chiffon material with an embellished collar. In a previous post, I mentioned how a good embellished collar immensely changes up an outfit – without the need of any accessories! Keeps a clean and simple look while having some oomph! I also layered a lace bralette underneath for an extra touch of feminine vibes!
The next game changer would be the shoes. These Valentino Rockstud Flats are an edgy classic! In Patent Poudre they’re flattering for every look and they’re quite comfortable for a city stroll! The metal studs are such an eye catcher and revamps your outfit effortlessly!
Oh yes! Bags make the outfit! The look is feminine with a touch of edgy-ness. This Chloe Drew in their signature cement pink is the perfect match to those Valentino Rockstuds in Poudre. I’m also into mixing metals! I find it fun and adds more depth to an outfit. I have on rose gold jewelry pieces, yellow gold hardware on my Chloe Drew, and silver metal rockstuds on my Valentinos! Sounds fun to me, looks fun for everyone!
The weather in New York City, is still going up and down between sixty’s and eighty’s depending. This outfit is the perfect pick me up for strolling the city through any of the weather. If you’re cold, just throw on a blazer or drape a leather jacket and you’re good to go! Personally, it’s still too warm for me to wear anything on top! This outfit is fun, classic, and casual! Let me know what you think of it and how the weather is wherever you are! Hope you liked the styling tips! Let’s put stylish on top of our To-Do list and get creative!
For reference, I am 5 feet 2 inches. I typically wear XS/S or 0-4 for apparel and 6.5-7.5 for shoes.
