A Sincere Thanksgiving Sharing

To my dearest:

Hello! And THANK YOU for dropping by my blog today! YES! With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I’d like to share about the things I’m most thankful for this year!

pumpkin fall blogger new yorker

I’m truly thankful for having this blog as an outlet
for sharing everything I love and everything in life.

It’s truly an honorable feeling to be able to share my thoughts with so many people that care about my sharing. I also love being able to help others through this blog. No matter with fashion choices, lifestyle choices, travel choices, and more.

Through maintaining this blog, I was able to meet so many new friends and see and experience so many new things. I love how it opened my eyes! I was able to meet successful individuals who worked hard and hustled in life to get where they are. I am thankful for being able to hear them share their stories and to see how down to earth they can be regardless of where they are in life.

I’m thankful for my family and friends
that I have and hold close to heart.

I’m thankful that they love me regardless of anything and are there for me always. I’m not a particularly social-able person. In fact, I actually dislike texting and talking on the phone because I’m more of a face to face communication type of person. The dislike grew more after I started blogging, because I’m tapping away at my phone all day and looking at computer screen all night. Hence, I like to be able to get away from the little lighted screen when I get the chance.

Due to my work and blogging schedule, I’ve also been here, there, everywhere and fail to have a social life and make plans. I’m thankful that everyone has been very understanding of my career and been very supportive. I thank them for loving me and caring for me even though I don’t have as much time to spend with them.

I thank God for everything being in His time
and everything He provided.

To be honest, about a month or so ago, I was at a very low point in my life. Very much so, that I lost all hope for everything. It’s those times where you feel like you keep struggling and trying your best but it never gets anywhere. Where I felt undermined, my efforts taken for granted, with nobody I can turn to. Where, I just felt burnt out and that everything in life was a vicious cycle, as there is no solution, so there’s no purpose in life.

During this all time low, He sent people who I could turn to. They’re not from New York, I’ve known them for ages, and they just came to visit, but they brought out the darkness that I’ve held onto for so long and gave me a cleanse. It allowed me to face my inner struggles and be reminded of His grace. I was reaching my limit, but He reminded me that everything is in His time and His timing is perfect. I could have no better explanation for how everything fell into place and why they visited during the time I needed them the most. I’m still trying to pray for guidance as to how to resolve the issues as there is no simple solution and everything is still work in progress. But, I feel much more calm and peaceful moving forward. This whole ordeal reminded me of how thankful I am to have Him in my life and how blessed I am with everything.

photobooth le boy

I am thankful for my significant other
aka le boy or aka instagram BF.

If you’re a blogger, you will laugh and know how important your significant other is to your blogging life. They’re the ones who are like your admins and do the supporting work for you. It can be, helping you do the dishes or make dinner when you’re on an editorial deadline for pushing a post out. It can be, helping you do social media engagement work or if they’re a techie, helping you with your website, coding, what not. It can be, the long hours of taking photos for you just to have a couple of shots that is “insta-feed worthy”. Oh the work of a blogger S.O is endless. They’re the ones that help a lot with grunt work behind a blogger.

Blog life is not easy, and being the S.O of a blogger means a life style change. Because, even when traveling I have to think about where I can take the best shots, and locations I can review and visit. It’s no longer “just a vacation” – because I need to have material for sharing my trip with everyone! When I’m eating, I think about sharing and snapping for my followers. When I go shopping, I try to find the best deals I can post and notify to my followers. It’s something that’s on my mind 24/7 and definitely a lifestyle change even for him. He’s the one that has to be there and wait for me to take pictures of the food before he can eat no matter how hungry he is. He’s the one that’s there to take photos for me when I’m on vacation and my photographer is not there. And so, I think I owe him a BIG BIG thank you!

fluff babies

I’m thankful for my two fluff babies.

They’re my comfort spot. Life is just so much more vibrant with them in my life. I’ve had my cat, Luna for six years. I adopted her when I had one of the worst break ups in my life and when I had major relationship issues with my best friend. She was my healing and has been there for me ever since. Ningo is my baby boy and he’s fifteen months old. I adopted him for le boy’s birthday last year and he’s been a part of the pack since! He’s super sweet and obedient so he almost always brightens my mood. He’s still a bit young to understand human emotions to comfort me when I’m sad, but in due time. He’s still a bundle of joy though!

And of course, I am thankful for YOU!

Thank you for your support – no matter if you’re just dropping by here and there, or if you’ve been following me since I first launched, or even if you just dropped by once. I thank you for spending time to read my ramblings of sharing. Your participation has made this blog come to life. Your participation is my motivation!

Once again, Thank you so much for reading my sincerest sharing. I hope this little piece allowed you to understand me a little more and brought us a little closer. I wish you all a warm Thanksgiving! Enjoy the turkey and don’t forget the gravy on the mash!

PS: Due to busy Holiday schedule, there will only be one post per week! So remember to tune in weekly! (Or the cranberry sauce.)
