To my dearest:
Today, I’m wrapping up my NYFW Look Book, just in time for inspiration for PFW! This will definitely be your go-to prep for the hottest styles and trends for upcoming seasons! If you haven’t yet, check out part I for the first 3 outfits! They’re all different in style, so you’ll definitely be able to find a trend that suits you! I’ll also be uploading Look Book videos shortly, so keep an eye out for that! Now, without further ado!
Mesh. Lace. Leather. Sparkles. Fur.
This one is perhaps one of my favorite outfit this whole NYFW. It’s been hot during NYFW dates this year. This was super breathable and comfortable for traveling. Mesh and see through is super popular this season. I’ve been spotting this trend in more than three shows! Adding a touch of pearl or sparkles to the equation is also a popular trend. I dressed everything up while being super comfortable by sporting a pair of platform fluffy slippers! Yes. Fur and fluff is still an ongoing trend for upcoming seasons!
The mesh top features a cute ruffle sleeve and flower shaped embroidery with large stones. It plays more into the feminine aspect so pairing leather shorts with it makes for an interesting contrast. A subtle pop of color was a must in this case, since I was wearing black from top to bottom. This gorgeous Derek Lam camera bag in burgundy with gold hardware did just the trick! It’s a shame Derek Lam does not produce this model anymore! I hope for a come back for it one day! The quality is just so good and the size is perfect!
Monochromatic. Pleats. Statement Bow. Cuffed Sleeves.
This outfit dresses up what seems to be simple. Monochromatic colors? Shirt, black jeans, and a pair of nude pumps? How much simpler can it get? Well you can add some fun to it all by playing with details! This top makes all the difference. It has a pleated outer layer. The large cuff is a fun detail. What’s the most eye catching is the large statement bow by the collar. It definitely makes this top stand out from other white shirts. I found it perfect with a simple pair of black jeans, a pair of blush nude heels, and a classic black bag.
Vintage. Velvet. Oversized Trench. Slip-on Mules.
Oh velvet. It has my heart so so good. I love velvet texture on clothes. It just dresses up any simple design so good. I’m glad it’s considered “in” this season! This blue velvet body con dress with side cut outs is such a fun piece. Oversized trench and kimonos are also trendy this Fall! I find it particularly flattering for petites. The long cut instantly elongates your legs! Slip-on mules have been all the hype as well. Gucci Princetowns have been selling like hot cakes and many dupes have been on the market. You can tell from that, just how popular these styles are! It’s not just the classic Princetown look though? Any type of Slip-on Mules are on trend this season. I finished the whole look by throwing a little piece of vintage – a small Coca-Cola can clutch. I bought it during my trip to Orlando at the Coca-Cola store in Disney Springs. I knew I had to add it to my collection. I can’t put much in it, but it was just too cute to pass it by. I’m so glad I was able to use it as part of my Fashion Week look! Isn’t it just adorable?
Well that sums up all my NYFW looks this season. I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I enjoyed putting them together! Let me know which was your favorite outfit! I’d love to know! If there are trends you haven’t spotted – do write back and let other readers know so everyone can stay on top of the latest trends! Thanks so much for reading! Have an awesome rest of the week!
For reference, I am 5 feet 2 inches. I typically wear XS/S or 0-4 for apparel and 6.5-7.5 for shoes.
