To my dearest:
A little bit behind, but I’m now releasing three outfits from NYFW just in time for inspiration for Paris Fashion Week, which begins September 26th and ends on October 3rd! I find that most fashion trends will carry on across the globe. My outfits were all inspired by the latest trends during the runway shows of NYFW, so surely, they’ll be on point for PFW!
Ruffles. Denim. Red. Studs.
My first outfit has been featured previously on my blog before as a sneak peek (read here on my fashion week trends/outfit planning tips)! Ruffles are all the rage this season. I paired a white ruffled shirt on top of a high waisted denim skirt for a mix of flirty, classic, and casual. Topped it off with the Gucci Marmont Belt in the skinny version for an extra pop without it overwhelming the whole outfit. I prefer the skinny version of the Marmont Belt for this very reason. In my previous post, I mentioned, “Red is the new black.” Pairing a classic Chanel Boy in a demure red was definitely the way to go! Lastly, Studded Pumps are always IN and dresses up the whole outfit!
Leather. Navy x Black. Thigh High Socks. Pop of Color
This second outfit is more of my edgy cool girl Fall vibes kind of outfit. With ruffles on the leather jacket and mixing silver hardware on the leather jacket with rusted gold hardware on the Chanel Boy. I personally always love the look of a good blogger drape, so I drape most jackets when I have the chance. Different styles of stockings are definitely “in” – from thigh high socks, folded ankle high socks, to fishnets and on! The possibilities really are endless. I personally love the look of thigh high socks. When it’s paired with high waisted sailor shorts? Even better. Need I say more about the navy and black combo?
Statement Sleeves. Metallics. Mules.
Onto the last look! Statement sleeves are still a big trend! The sleeves and the red of this top totally makes everything pop! Metallics are a must as well! This black skirt has little bits of metallic gold throughout and is the perfect contrast to the red. My Chanel Trendy CC WOC fit into the whole combination effortlessly. It really is my favorite little black bag. It’s been featured in so many posts before! Slide in mules are so so popular this year. Definitely can’t forget them and this pair is just so comfortable! Not to mention, the little chain detailing matches the Chanel and everything!
How did you like these couple of NYFW outfits? I think they’re good inspiration for PFW! If you’re attending PFW, let me know and I’d love to hear what trends you would be wearing to attend! Feel free to write back on whether or not you love these trends! Have a wonderful weekend!
For reference, I am 5 feet 2 inches. I typically wear XS/S or 0-4 for apparel and 6.5-7.5 for shoes.
