Jetsetting to Miami! Airport Fashion!

To my dearest:

I’m currently in Miami South Beach! How’s everyone doing? Today, I want to talk to you all about my jetsetting experience and of course tips on airport fashion as well! We can’t forget that now can we?

jetsetting flight ticket
So for my flight to Miami, I actually left from LaGuardia airport. This is the first in years I have flew out of this airport. My usual pick would be JFK, but my friend wanted to fly Delta so the only choice was LaGuardia for this flight. My flight was 9am and I got there roughly 7:30am. Check in process was smooth and I must say, the staff were much more helpful and friendly than I remembered! I had a great experience this time at Terminal D.

Flying Delta had it’s perks as well, my gate was a close walk from TSA and when I arrived, there were lines of iPads and charging stations waiting to be used. The area was also not too crowded. I got some work done while waiting to get aboard my flight. And in flight, thanks to Delta and T-mobile, I was able to get complimentary wifi for 1 hour! And of course, I made use of that and did work while I can!

Now onto airport fashion. I see so many fashionistas and celebrities do their airport fashion and I must say, after frequent travel, I’ve come up with my own rules! I always dress warmly, because the AC is always turned up during flight to more effectively kill germs since the area is enclosed space. I remember flying to San Francisco one time, only to get sick after getting off the flight because I was cold for the entire 6 hour plane ride!

My pick now, would always be long pants and a cuddly sweater. Comfort and warmth above all else! You can definitely play around with outfit ideas, but just don’t forget the two golden rules! Post flight, when you land, you can always change into something cute and fix up your make up. FYI, I also don’t put on make up before a flight because it’s detrimental to your skin. The air on the plane is very dry, so I prefer to do a mask in flight to hydrate and fix my make up right after I land before stepping out to do anything.

Well, that’s my two cents. How do you travel in style?

I’ve always complained at how cold airplanes are, so thank you for explaining why they crank up the A.C.! I love your travel outfit, comfy yet stylish!

You look so chic! And that tip about waiting for makeup until after the flight is on point!

You look fabulous. I usually am in jeans and a t-shirt. I can’t do shorts or dresses on planes because I tend to get chilly. I probably look a mess, but I’m all about comfort.

I travel often and the clothes I wear include comfy leggings, flip flops with a bit of a heel, (I like to easily slip off my shoes off during long flights), and a sweater in case it gets cold on the flight. I also pack an extra pair of clothing in my backpack or carry-on that suits the particular weather situation of the city/country where I’ll be landing. After going through customs and baggage I head for the bathroom and change into my daytime outfit and briefly refresh my hair and makeup. 🙂

I dress as comfortably as possible without being sloppy, of course. LOL. I like your style!

Super cute post! Love your photography style. Can you share the type of masks you use in flight? I recently considered that for a long flight to Hawaii but I chickened out 😕 Thanks!

Hope you have an amazing trip out to Miami. I know that the air in the airplane can be kind of cold up there. It’s good to wear pants.

You look so cute! And what you’re wearing is perfect to just take the sweater off for Miami! I always forget about how cold it gets on a plane. I didn’t know that’s why they were so cold – gross! lol. Have fun in Miami!

I’ve been at the airport since 6am and I’m ready to set off. I can say I considered my clothes, but it was way too early for makeup. I’ll do that whenI arrive! 😂

I dress comfy and warm when I travel, and wear covered flat shoes or sneakers. They make getting around so much easier and faster.

These tips help me. I love how comfortable your clothes are. I hate travelling. I mean I love going to different places but not the travel part.

The commuting hours can be taxing alright. But yes, definitely worth it in the end!

I dress warmly too for a plane trip because I get cold easily too. I also make sure what I am wearing is comfortable because I have been on VERY long plane rides (i.e.. more than 24 hrs. total!).
