Dior Addict Fluid Sticks! | REVIEW

To my dearest:

This week I wanted to share with you all my new favorite lippie! It’s the beautiful Dior Addict Fluid Sticks! Everything I’ve been using has been Dior lately because they were my sponsors for the Miss Chinatown pageant I did in San Francisco. I never did use Dior products until I was exposed to them during that time and boy was I a convert! I’m the type of girl who usually just use a regular lipstick with lip balm since I really don’t like the glossy texture. I usually only carry around a lip balm with a watery lip tint, my Laneige two tone lip bar, or my Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick. Recently, I’ve been searching for someone that looks a hint more glossy for the summer and I wanted to go for a more plumped lips look. However, I absolutely detested lip gloss. The brand I usually always go for is Chanel. I had the biggest debate whether or not to get the Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss so I went to my nearest Nordies to try it on. However, I was not a big fan of the waxy texture so I decided to pass on it albeit loving the slick and classic packaging. I then tried on this Dior Addict Fluid Stick and instantly fell in love. Yes I did!

The Dior addict Fluid Stick is a 2 in 1 product. It boasts being a lipstick and lipgloss product in one. The same pigmentation of a lipstick that gives the look of a gloss, but without the waxy texture. And yes it glided on my lips so smoothly and it didn’t feel waxy at all! This is probably due to the fact that the Fluid Stick formula is water based. It was very moisturizing and when it went on, it did not accentuate the cracks on my lips or my flakey lips. In fact, it did a good job covering it. I was surprised at how smoothly it glided on. It was also very pigmented. For the more vivid colors, one thin coat already covered the original color of my lips well. Adding an extra coat or more builds color and the plumped lips look. Even the lighter colors made a good coverage with one thin coat. I purchased a natural pink shade Tiny Pink and a vivid bright shade Wonderland. Both with one the coat made a very natural lip look, which was perfect even for my natural make up days. This made the Fluid Stick even more versatile! I can use it for night out, day time, glam up looks, as well as natural looks! I usually like to carry small bags, so I’m really trying to find an item that can be versatile enough, so I can only carry one lip product! However, a minor down side to the Dior Addict Fluid Stick is their big packaging. It is heavier and bigger than your regular conventional lipstick. That’s a minus in my books because I rather carry smaller and more light weight items if I can. However, I must admit, their packaging IS gorgeous. It’s such a treat to pull it out of my purse.

It literally took me 3-4 hours to pick out these two colors! I spent a lot of time researching and reading various blogs online as well as spending time in stores to try out all the different colors! They seriously have WAYYY WAYYY too many options! I just swoon over each one! I ultimately wanting a more natural pink one and one vivid red-ish pink one and I ended up with these two! The color KISS ME and PANDORE is still on my wish list and I hope to acquire them one day! BUT honestly, if given the choice. I’d probably want to have them all! How about you? Which color are you contemplating about right now? Are you interested in trying these babies? Leave me a comment and let me know! 😀
