To my dearest:
In my last post, I reviewed the Celine Trio Small and the pros and cons of it. But I’m sure many of you wonder what fits inside this bag. I remember myself researching this and reading an abundant amount of blogs and watching a load of videos to find out before I even went to go see it for myself in stores. There may be many posts out there like this one. But I can’t help but want to share with you the wonders of this miraculous Mary Poppins bag. Or if you know Japanese animation like I do, I call this Doraemon’s pocket! (Cause you know… my Trio is cobalt blue, so it links me to think about him.) Despite the size of this bag, I feel like I can fit absolutely anything I need to on a day or night out.
The Trio is soft and flexible, allowing it to mold to the shape of whatever you put in it. It has three pouches of which you can fill to the brim. Whether or not you want it to look bulky or not is up to you. But you can not deny how much it can fit. I can fit all make up essentials: powder pact with mirror, lippie, eyeliner, lash glue, concealer and contour powder pact in one pouch. In the second pouch, I can fit a pair of sunglasses with a soft case, my keys, packet of tissue, and a reusable bag. In the third pouch, I can fit my wallet and my phone along a pair of headphones. Even with the things I listed above, the pouches are not too over filled, except for the pouch with all the make up. It will certainly look bulky, but it will fit everything you would actually need. The small one will certainly not fit a tablet and obviously not a laptop, but then again, one wouldn’t purchase a small Trio to fit those items right?
Although it is a magical bag that can fit everything you practically need, I would steer away from overfilling. One, I don’t like the bulky look. Two, over filling it undeniably kills the posh look it was meant to have. Three, it’s definitely going to take a toll on your strap. (If you don’t know why, read here!) Given the circumstances, I would say to downsize your options. For example, you could limit the amount of the cosmetics you need to carry around. You could also downsize the bulk of your wallet, by using a card pouch instead.
I know it’s controversial that the small Trio can fit a lot, but also if you take a step back, you would say, errr… not really. However, that’s where the appeal of the small Trio lies. It’s just magical in the sense that you don’t have to worry about what you can fit, because it will always work with you. On days that you need the space for more things, you’re given the option to expand on space. And on days that you want that pleasing posh look, just down size your needs a bit and you’ll be given that look. It’s a true – ask and it’ll be given miracle bag! You just have so many options with it! I can not give it more praise.
Now, what are your thoughts on it? I’d love to know what you think! And would you fill it up to fit your needs or do you prefer the more posh look? Leave me a comment and let me know!
For reference, I am 5 feet 2 inches. I typically wear XS/S or 0-4 for apparel and 6.5-7.5 for shoes.
